This is a new song of mine, taken from a new EP I did with author Christian Ludwig. “Sendawoy” is Christian Ludwig’s debut novel, this new EP is a reinterpretation of the book through new music I wrote, recorded and programmed. Excerpts of the book were captured with tape machines indoors and outdoors with the author reading and music was created especially for this release to play with the mood and story of the book. The result is a short journey through the pages filled with twists and turns. The “Sendawoy” EP also features a title track of the same name and is available now in physical and digital editions via Bloody Hands Ltd. and Lieblingsempire from here.
The title track is inspired by the book but sung by me. You can listen to it right here. Cheers!
brainblankets asked: Love your blog! is corwood manual your band?
Hey, thanks a lot! Corwood Manual is a solo project of mine, but I am involved in bands as well. If you are interested, you can find them all in music & me section of the blog. Happy holidays and all the best Andreas
Take time, but not to rest.
Hey everyone, it’s been some time I sat down to write something to you, so here we are. The last month has been great, especially the warm welcome the EP received from all of you. Thank you so much for this! I am happy you enjoy it.
Right now I am sitting in a beautiful attic working on ideas and some remixes to be released soon. Hopefully! Also I finished my part of the Sendawoy project, it will be very exciting for me to see what you will say about it. Furthermore many new songs are lying around, I am sifting through old tapes as well as new ones to compile material to work on for the next couple of releases. Lots of stuff that really could be something. Let’s find out!
In the meantime I’ll be posting the songs of Hideouts here and there for you to enjoy. By the way, there are some copies of the first editions left: If you want one of these, don’t hesitate to contact me and they fly over to you.
Take care and hear you soon, truly yours.
